To Eternity

בָּרוּךְ שֵׁם כְּבוֹד מַלְכוּתוֹ לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד

— Blessed is the Name of his glorious kingdom forever

Why is it that when I gaze upon the sky, the firmament of celestial heights, and see the stars singing, that I know, deep within, that this universe is not alone, not abandoned, not lost, but guided by a Loving Force — a soft whisper which pervades its very fabric. A matter of faith and vision. That from the beginning there was a Light which wrestled with the void, and won.

A golden chord reaches from the infinite and calls. It pulls me higher and higher. “Adam you can do this. Have faith and trust and I will show you the good.” And just like that this chord tugs and elevates to my heights unseen and unexperienced.

And I, willing, obey and follow. And through thickest hell and dunnest smoke, I am taken to the Promised Land where milk and honey abound. Such is the path of the Spirit, always flying. Singing and dancing with the angels, from now to forever.
